Statement On COVID-19 Outbreak

To our valued clients and esteemed colleagues:

Like you, we at Kazerouni Law Group are taking the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in America very seriously. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our clients and employees. For that reason, we are implementing strong protocols that are intended to let us continue serving our clients while maintaining the safety of our clients, attorneys and staff. Our contact numbers will remain the same, but are now being routed to our attorneys and staff (who are working remotely). We are striving to make this transition as seamless as possible, but please bear with us if there any disruptions.

New Clients

We are still taking new cases and clients. All new client consultations can be done over the phone or by secure video-conference. If you have legal needs, please feel free to contact us, as we will strive to be there for you, as we always have in protecting your rights. In fact, it is times such as these where a lot of consumers are exposed and more vulnerable. It is important to know that we are here and you will get a consultation with a licensed attorney within 24 business hours or less.

Current Cases

We have been monitoring the guidelines and mandates in the jurisdictions that we practice within. We are also pushing for telephonic hearings for our cases before judges, and commit to working with opposing counsel wherever possible to both ease the burdens on the court, as well as protect the health and safety of all clients and attorneys involved. To the degree that a client’s presence is required, your attorney will be in touch to discuss accommodations and/or options.

For the most part, opposing counsel and the courts are being very accommodating in rescheduling in person hearings, depositions and trials. In the very unlikely event a client is required in person, we will do all we can to make that appearance manageable by remote access through video conferencing and/or other technological methods available to us.

Please know that we, at Kazerouni Law Group, APC have been preparing for this for some time and ready for a full time quarantine (should that happen). The preparation has put us in a position to ensure that you, as our clients will remain our priority and that your case/s is not prejudiced in any manner, and in fact we move forward with your matter/s with as much continuity as possible.

What Will Happen

We are following our local, state and federal public health agency requirements and recommendations, and strongly suggest you do the same. Again, for all intents and purposes we are fully operational, but we ask for your understanding as we adjust our routines to prioritize the health and safety of our clients and employees, as governmental mandates change. If material changes come about, we will be adapting to be compliant with any such orders. Therefore, continue to check our website to see if our procedures (as they relate to you) have changed.

We are all on uncharted ground here – the Coronavirus pandemic represents a challenge not just for attorneys but our community as a whole. We ask that you be patient, follow your local, state, and federal public agency guidelines, and most importantly be safe. We look forward to resuming business as usual as soon as possible.
