Debt Relief Through Bankruptcy
The issues involved with serious debt can be overwhelming. Constant calls from collectors, always scrambling to find a way to pay your monthly bills and expenses: These issues can cause extreme stress for anyone.
At Kazerouni Law Group, APC, we help people with debt problems. From our Costa Mesa, California, office, we serve clients throughout Orange County in a range of debt-relief options. In many cases, we are able to stop creditor harassment through litigation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other litigation. However, there are times when clients need a more direct solution. In many of these cases, bankruptcy is the best option.
Our bankruptcy attorneys are experienced and dedicated to helping clients find the debt-relief solutions they need. We can discuss your situation and help you understand your options. Talk with one of our lawyers today.
Bankruptcy Options
At Kazerouni Law Group, our attorneys help clients find debt relief through Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Chapter 7 is the most common method of bankruptcy. It allows you to discharge unsecured debt and get a fresh financial start, usually within a few months.
Chapter 13 is a more long-term solution. Instead of discharging your debts immediately, Chapter 13 allows you to create a repayment plan for the debts you want to retain. Then, in either a three-year or five-year span, you can pay off your debts and move forward to a new start.
Chapter 11 is generally reserved for businesses seeking bankruptcy relief.
Regardless of what type of bankruptcy you are seeking, our lawyers can counsel you through the process and help you get the best results possible in your situation.
