On July 18 KLG attorney Ryan Mcbride made his monthly trip to volunteer at the financial distress clinic in Phoenix. Mcbride has been volunteering his legal services there for the past four months. The clinic exists to provide free legal advice and guidance for members of the Phoenix community with low incomes. Mcbride personally helped several struggling families and advised them on how to deal with lawsuits that had either been filed against them or were going to be filed against them. He advised them on the advantages and disadvantages of bankruptcy and which choice he thought was best for them. Mcbride said his favorite part of helping there is when he sees the people he’s helping have an, “a-ha” moment when they finally understand which is the best past for them to take.
KLG is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Ryan’s work at the clinic exemplifies KLG’s philanthropic efforts. We are all very proud of Ryan for his pro bono work in the Phoenix community.
