KLG attorney Matt Loker has been appointed Vice Chair of Programming for the California Bar Association’s Consumer Financial Services Committee. Loker had appeared before the committee three different times as a guest speaker before being appointed to this position. The purpose of the committee is to examine consumer financial issues from both the perspective of the banks/debt collectors and the consumers. Once a month the committee meets and discusses how new laws are affecting the consumer financial sector. With Loker’s appointment former vice chair Andrew Noble will now become president in place of former president Jennifer Duncan.
