KLG Does CAALA

By Alec Brooks of Kazerouni Law Group, APC on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.

Five members of KLG including founding partners Abbas Kazerounian and Mike Kazerouni attended the CAALA (Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles) convention last weekend. KLG exhibited at the event with its own booth and were among over 140 different exhibit booths at what is the largest convention of trial attorneys in the nation.

KLG has exhibited at the past two conventions, but Kazerounian himself has been attending for the past seven years.

“It is a great event where we have the opportunity to meet up with old friends and enhance ourselves as plaintiff attorneys,” Kazerounian said.

Along with Kazerounian and Kazerouni, KLG was represented by attorneys Mona Amini and Matthew Loker and accounting associate Jocelyn Candelas. All five KLG members were able to interact and network over the three days with the 2,8000 attendees which included some of the nation’s finest trial lawyers, jurists, and legal consultants.

“I liked talking to other attorneys about what we do and educating them about the FDCPA and TCPA and all the other areas of law we specialize in,” Amini said. “I also enjoyed networking with a lot of local Southern California attorneys and meeting some of the most well-known consumer attorneys in the area.”

This year at the exhibit KLG set up a photo booth so that everyone who visited the exhibit was able to take photos with us and other visitors using an array of funny props and hats. Our exhibit attracted people from all different spectrums of the legal world.

“I enjoyed learning a lot of new things from other attorneys as far as different practice areas because I only really know about what we practice at our firm,” Candelas said. “It was great for me to be able to network with a lot of the doctors that were at the convention because of the personal injury cases I help with.”

Overall it was another very Successful CAALA experience and we’re very happy about all the new and interesting people we’ve been able to come in contact with. It was also great to continue building upon the relationships we’ve formed with colleagues from the past. Thanks to everyone who made the weekend special and hope to see you all next year!
