On October 28, 2014, the Honorable James V. Selna of the Central District of California preliminarily approved a $750,000.00 settlement in Couser v. Apria Healthcare, Inc., case no. SACV13-00035 JVS (RNBx). Click here for a true and correct copy of the Order. In this action, Paintiff alleged that Apria violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by using an automatic telephone dialing system to place calls to Plaintiff’s cellular telephone without Plaintiff’s prior express consent. After review of the settlement terms, Judge Selna appointed the Kazerouni Law Group, APC as class counsel and held that the settlement was “fair, adequate and reasonable” to the putative class members.
