Abbas Kazerounian is one of the founding partners at Kazerouni Law Group.  Mr. Kazerounian’s areas of specialty are entertainment law and civil litigation. 

With over ten years of experience in the entertainment industry as a professional actor, screenwriter, producer and published author, Mr. Kazerounian has a great understanding for potential issues that can arise in this field and of course their respective solutions.  He has represented actors, authors, screenwriters, managers, agents and production companies as individual and general counsel.  Being an artist himself gives Mr. Kazerounian a greater insight to the personal needs of his clients as well as their legal needs. 

Business & Corporate Law is also an area of specialty for Mr. Kazerounian.  His own business experience along with his legal expertise allow Mr. Kazerounian to offer his clients a unique style of representation.  Mr. Kazerounian prides himself in his creative ability to create unique idiosyncratic solutions for each one of his clients, be they individuals or entities.  As a partner, Mr. Kazerounian represents individuals to small businesses all the way to multinational companies on the national stock exchange. 

Though Mr. Kazerounian’s personal philosophy is to always proactively prevent future dispute, many clients retain him for litigation purposes.  Mr. Kazerounian litigates many of the firm’s major civil litigation cases in both state and federal court.  He is currently litigating against numerous internationally known entities in high stakes disputes.  

Mr. Kazerounian attended the University of Plymouth, U.K., where  he received his bachelor of arts in English Literature & Theatre and Performance.  He then received his masters from the prestigious London Academy of Performing Arts.  Subsequently Mr. Kazerounian received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA.  Before becoming a partner at Kazerouni Law Group, Mr. Kazerounian worked at Sayegh & Associates and then at the Law Offices of Kyron Johnson.

Mohammad “Mike” Kazerouni is one of the founding partners at Kazerouni Law Group.

Mr. Kazerouni’s legal areas of interest include Personal Injury, Business Law, Entertainment Law, and Real Estate Law.  Working with large start-up companies and venture capitalists while attending law school, Mr. Kazerouni gained extensive knowledge in online marketing and business development that provide him with a unique vision and understanding of issues facing startup companies.

After graduating from the University of California in Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, Mr. Kazerouni pursued his passion for law by attending the Chapman University School of Law in Orange County, California. While at Chapman Law School, Mr. Kazerouni served as a student editor for Orange County’s prestigious Bar Association Publication, The Orange County Lawyer.

He is currently a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Iranian American Bar Association, and Phi Alpha Delta International Legal Fraternity.

Robert was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served his country, was decorated, and honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, Sociology, and Rhetoric. Robert attended California Western School of Law on an academic scholarship and is a licensed attorney admitted to the State Bar of Minnesota and the State Bar of California. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the San Diego County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Civil Liberties Union. Robert has been associated with such prestigious law firms as Dorsey & Whitney, Patterson, Thuente, Skaar & Christensen, and Barry & Slade, LLC, in a non-attorney capacity.

Besides being admitted the State Bar of Minnesota and the State Bar of California, Robert is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, Minnesota Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States Distict Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

With over 10 years experience as a California Licensed Private Investigator, combined with his bachelor's degree in psychology and working with the San Francisco District Attorneys' office. He brings experience in a variety of practice areas, including commercial and residential real estate, breach of contract and criminal defense. His unique mastery of legal concepts and ability to analyze complex issues is garnered from his considerable experience. Mr. Khashayar has effectively handled countless criminal and civil cases, and has argued successfully to benefit his clients. Mr. Khashayar has represented and successfully litigated breach of contract, as well as tort claims, against big corporations and insurance companies, such as Century 21, KB Homes and Costco. Furthermore, he has effectively represented major lenders, brokers, and companies in the region. His experience with the San Francisco District Attorney's Office combined with his practice as a Licensed Private Investigator has allowed him to defend individuals accused of DUI/DWI, burglary, possession, and larceny, with great success.
